What made you get into martial arts?
I have always been into sports. As a child I played football, skated, and wrestled. I felt like I was in need of a new hobby, and have always had an interest in martial arts. I found it came naturally to me.
Tell us about your journey/background/accomplishments?
I joined HAMA about 6-7 years ago, and loved it from the start. I began training BJJ for the first year, but have now been focusing on kickboxing for the last 4-5 years. I enjoy kickboxing more than BJJ.
What is your goal as a coach?
My goal as a coach is to see my students do well, and that is it. I really care about these kids, it is very rewarding to see them do well and have fun with the sport.
What makes High Altitude Martial Arts special?
HAMA is like family to me, I’m sure everyone that trains here feels the same way. I spend more time here than I do anywhere else. We all have fun together and it’s a great place to be.
