What made you get into martial arts?
In the mid 2000s my friends and I got really into Pride. It was a little difficult to follow at the time so we would have to track down dvds and watch events well after they went down but it didn’t matter to us, we were hooked.

Tell us about your journey/background/accomplishments?
I originally started training in 2011 at Reign Training Center in Southern California. It wouldn’t take long for me to meet and train with some of the guys I used to watch on the old Pride DVDS! I moved to Colorado in February 2013 and immediately started training at High Altitude Martial Arts and have been there ever since.

What is your goal as a coach?
Jiu Jitsu has changed the way I approach life and any problems that may come. I want to help as many other people as possible, fall in love with and appreciate Jiu Jitsu. I truly believe that it can be life changing.

What makes High Altitude Martial Arts special?
High Altitude Martial Arts is a very unique and special place. We are home to some of the best established and up and coming martial arts athletes in the world. What truly makes the gym special though, is the vast diversity of people that you will meet at the gym. People from all different walks of life with different stories and different goals all coming together to walk the same path. It is truly a thing of beauty and my favorite aspect of martial arts.
