What made you get into martial arts?

I got I to martial arts unintentionally. I was getting bullied in elementary school and my dad put me in jiu jitsu to defend myself. After being terrible at all the other sports, I decided to stick with grappling through middle school, where I started wrestling. I wrestled into high school, where I found High Altitude my freshman year and began doing jiu jitsu again during the off season. This led to me slowly jumping into the kickboxing classes, and after I graduated high school I fell in love with striking and decided I wanted to fight.

Tell us about your journey/background/accomplishments?

My last couple fights I’ve gone 2-0 in kickboxing with one finish and 1-0 in MMA. Looking to jump back in the cage soon!

What is your goal as a coach?

My goal as a coach is to teach people the intricacies of martial arts and how it can be applied to not only recreation, but to life.

What makes High Altitude Martial Arts special?

High Altitude is different from any other gym I’ve been to. There is a sense of culture and has everyday moms training and learning alongside trained MMA fighters. The gym feels like a second home to me, and everyone supports one another in their achievements. The level of skill both in BJJ and Kickboxing is truly world class, and the bar is set high when it comes to technique at this gym which leads to very skilled training partners. This is an elite training facility.
