What does a day at camp look like?

Check in starts at 8:30am and the children will have free play until 9am. Each morning, the children can expect to take either a Jiu Jitsu class or a kickboxing class with one of our instructors. The class will consist of a warm up, lesson, drilling, and relevant game. Next, it’s snack time! The children will pick a snack from the snack box and have some time for free play. The coaches will gather up the campers and play a coach led game such as an obstacle course, capture the flag, sharks & minors, ect. Then it is time for lunch. After lunch the children will decide what game they want to play. Shortly after, it will be time for the afternoon martial arts class. The children will have another martial arts lesson, opposite of what they took in the morning. We will have time for one more snack and then it will be time to get ready for pick up.

What can campers expect?

Campers can expect to learn martial arts, play a lot of physical games, eat yummy snacks, have a nerf gun war, have a ice cream party, and also a pizza party!

What can parents expect?

Parents can expect some tired kids! They will learn the basics of both Jiu Jitsu and kickboxing while playing fun games. We have surprise visits from a superhero or Freddy The Yeti for an interactive fitness lesson. During the June camp, we will be making a Father’s Day craft. We also teach about anti-bullying. Your kids will be active and engaged and best of all, off those electronics.

Does my child need martial arts experience?

No! Our camp is open to members and non members. The members with more experience will be partnered up with our less experienced campers to help them through class. This is a great way to introduce your child to martial arts and gauge their interest.
